Heroic Lanarkshire War Veteran Celebrates 100th Birthday

The motion

That the Parliament recognises Lanarkshire war veteran, Bob Fulton, on celebrating his 100th milestone birthday; notes that he celebrated the milestone, surrounded by generations of his family and friends, at his favourite haunt, the East Kilbride British Legion; understands that Bob is a well-known former Rolls Royce worker and Second World War veteran, and that he enjoyed minor celebrity status when the documentary film Nae Pasaran was released in 2018, and recognises that Bob and his former colleagues took home the prestigious BAFTA Scotland Award for what it sees as the incredible story of their brave stance against Chilean dictator General Pinochet in the 1970s.
