Stirling and District Car Club Show 2023

The motion

That the Parliament is delighted that around 700 classic vehicles were on display, from 47 different car clubs, at Games Park, in Bridge of Allan, for the popular Stirling and District Classic Car Club show on 14 May 2023; welcomes the news that, to date, more than £100,000 has been raised over the last two decades through the popular event and has been donated to 48 local charities; commends the vehicle exhibitors, traders, "autojumblers" and visitors, along with the support from a range of organisations, and believes that this has collectively ensured that Stirling and District Classic Car Club will again be able to provide valuable support to local charities, and notes that they highlighted the valuable work of Dementia Dunblane and the Stirling Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre to the wider show, which are two of the charities supported by the club from the proceeds of the 2022 event.
