Fife Voluntary Action Celebrates Volunteering and Voluntary Sector Awards
The motion
That the Parliament notes that Fife Voluntary Action’s Volunteering and Voluntary Sector Awards were held at the Glen Pavilion, Dunfermline, on 7 June 2023; understands that the awards, which have not been held since 2019 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, recognise the exceptional work done by organisations and volunteers throughout Fife’s third sector, across fifteen categories; further understands that hundreds of nominations were received from across Fife, and were reduced to a final shortlist of three in each category, who were invited to the ceremony; congratulates Fife Council Employability Team, as well as local Kirkcaldy organisations, K107FM, FASD Fife, and Janet Kerr from Greener Kirkcaldy, who all took home awards, and wishes Fife Voluntary Action all the best for future award ceremonies.
