Niamh Mitchell Shortlisted for Sporting Champion of the Year Award 2023

The motion

That the Parliament recognises Niamh Mitchell, of Rosyth, on being shortlisted for the Sporting Champion of the Year Award 2023 in the Dunfermline Press and Central Fife Times Community Champions Awards; understands that the competition was highly contested for all award categories, including this one, which made it even more difficult for the expert judging panel; notes that the aim of the awards is to reward and celebrate the people who make their communities a better place; understands that these are the first awards since the COVID-19 pandemic, and that they have been sorely missed by all; notes that the Community Champions awards night will take place at the Glen Pavilion, Dunfermline, on 15 June 2023, and wishes Niamh all the very best on the night.
