Scottish Disability Golf and Curling Charity

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the work of the Scottish Disability Golf and Curling charity; notes that the charity was founded in 2004 and has since played at over 250 golf courses around Scotland; congratulates it on reaching the significant milestone of having organised 900 rounds of golf; recognises what it sees as the importance of participation in sport for disabled people, both in terms of their individual health and wellbeing and in helping reduce the stigma and discrimination associated with disability, and wishes all those involved continued success for the future.
