Aberdour Beaches Continued Success in Scotland's Beach Awards 2023

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the achievement of Aberdour's beaches, Silver Sands and Black Sands, on being named, once again, in Scotland's Beach Awards for 2023, organised by Keep Scotland Beautiful; understands that, having held the award for 30 consecutive years, the Silver Sands is one of the top four longest-running award winners in Scotland; notes that, allowing for a two-year hiatus, the Black Sands has now held the award for a total of 22 years; believes that Scotland's Beach Awards are the benchmark for quality, celebrating clean, well-managed and sustainable beaches; wishes visitors to Aberdour, and all of Scotland's beaches, good weather this summer, and supports another of Keep Scotland Beautiful's campaigns, reminding people to #BinYourLitter or take it home.
