Town Break SCIO Receives £200,000 of National Lottery Funding

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Town Break SCIO on being awarded £200,000 from the National Lottery Medium Grants Scotland: Improving Lives fund; understands that the group will use the funding to continue to provide a range of support services for people living with dementia, and their carers, in the Stirling and Clackmannanshire area; believes that this project will benefit approximately 1,120 people living with dementia and a further 1,120 carers; understands that 80 volunteers will provide assistance over three years, and commends Town Break on its tireless and first-class work for all those living with dementia.
