National Lottery Award for Play Alloa in Mid Scotland and Fife Region

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Play Alloa on being awarded £199,450 from the National Lottery Medium Grants Scotland: Improving Lives fund; believes that the group will use the funding to continue to provide a range of life skills and recreational activities to young people resident in Clackmannanshire, aged from 12 to 18 years, who live with an additional support need; acknowledges that overall supervision will be provided by a Senior Sessional Coordinator, and welcomes the news that the project will benefit 40 young people, with six volunteers providing assistance over three years.
