Businesses in Aberdeenshire West Recognised at the North East Scotland Food and Drinks Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Dean’s of Huntly on receiving the Skills and Leadership Award at the 2023 North East Scotland Food and Drink Awards, which took place on 9 June 2023 in Aberdeen; understands that many businesses across Aberdeenshire West were nominated for an award, including the Braemar Chocolate Shop, nominated for the Best New Product (Emerging Business) category for its Speyside Blood Orange Gin Bar, Glenkindie Pantry, which was also nominated in the Best New Product (Emerging Business) category for its Pink Elderflower Cordial; recognises that Snochery Jocks was nominated in the Best New Product (Emerging Business) category for its oatcake range, Dean’s of Huntly was nominated in the Best New Product (Large Business) category for its Herdy All Butter Shortbread Range, Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky was nominated in the Best Distilled Product category for its product, the Big Smoke 50, and Angus & Oink was nominated for the Business Growth Award; congratulates Dean’s of Huntly and all the businesses who were nominated on this achievement, and wishes them further success in the future.
