Recognising the Rotary Club of Perth’s Cairncross Award to Letham4All Volunteer, Suzie Burt

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the Rotary Club of Perth’s Cairncross Award, awarded to Letham4All volunteer, Suzie Burt, for her outstanding work in the community; understands that Suzie has been a trustee and volunteer for Letham4All since its inception in 2017; believes that the organisation aims to improve the health and wellbeing of people living in the Letham and north of Perth area; notes that, along with other trustees, Suzie helped to develop the charity by working on the creation of its constitution and the registration with Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator, and has also led the Cost of Living Working Group with local partners to support those in need; believes that Suzie is also the lead director in the development of funding applications, supporting capital and revenue projects and helping to raise £2 million, including £626,000 to support the Letham4All Strategic Plan to 2026, and extends its gratitude to Suzie, the trustees and volunteers at Letham4All for their contributions to the local community, and its very best wishes for the future.
