Congratulating Crossgates Primary Teacher, Jemma Thomas, as Dunfermline Press Community Champion Awards 2023 Teacher of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the success of Jemma Thomas, who teaches in Crossgates Primary School, on being named Dunfermline Press Community Champion Awards 2023 Teacher of the Year; understands that Jemma was recognised for her outstanding work with children and her commitment to always go above and beyond for her students; notes that, in particular, Jemma was recognised for supporting vulnerable children during the COVID-19 pandemic; recognises that Jemma has proved that she is most definitely top of the class, and wishes Jemma all the very best for the future.
