Aberdeen-based Mannofield Explorer Scouts Releases Charity Album

The motion

That the Parliament commends the Aberdeen-based Mannofield Explorer Scout Unit for its exceptional fundraising efforts, aimed at providing young people with unforgettable experiences; understands that the community group collaborated with artists from the North East Scotland region, who pledged their support by contributing exclusive, previously unreleased tracks to an album; further understands that the album, titled Straight Outta Mannofield, showcases the Scouts’ own artwork and offers a remarkable compilation of established and emerging local acts spanning various genres, such as indie, rock and jazz; notes that Mannofield Explorer Scouts is Aberdeen’s largest Explorer Scout unit, bringing together over 30 young people between 14 and 18 years old, from different parts of the city, to learn and develop skills for life; further notes that interested individuals can purchase the album online from Bandcamp, and wishes the group every success with its ongoing fundraising efforts.
