Highland GP Appointed OBE in The King’s Birthday Honours List 2023

The motion

That the Parliament commends Dr Miles Mack for being recognised in The King’s Birthday Honours list and being appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE); recognises that Dr Miles Mack served by chairing the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) Scotland between 2014 and 2017, and acted as RCGP Trustee and Vice Chair of the Scottish Academy; notes that Miles was also elected as chair of the Scottish Academy from 2019 to 2022; understands that Miles is also a local Highlands GP, having been a partner at Dingwall Medical Group since 1993, and congratulates all those who received honours in The King’s Birthday Honours list.
