Highland Brownie Volunteer Recognised for Service in The King’s Birthday Honours List

The motion

That the Parliament commends learning support assistant, Ina Melville, for being recognised in The King’s Birthday Honours list; recognises that Ina Melville, a unit leader of 1st Smithton Brownies, received the honour for her services to young people and the community of Smithton; further recognises that Ina became involved in Girl Guiding 21 years ago because she wanted her daughter to go to brownies, but the unit needed helpers, and she has stayed on ever since, and further congratulates all those who received honours in The King’s Birthday Honours list.
