Royal Regiment of Scotland to Play Carnegie Hall in Dunfermline
The motion
That the Parliament understands that the Royal Regiment is due to play at the Carnegie Hall in December 2023; notes that, following its performance in the Coronation procession for His Majesty King Charles III, the Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland is now heading off on a national tour in support of Poppyscotland; understands that the Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, based at Dreghorn Barracks, Edinburgh, is one of the 22 Regular Army bands, and is comprised of musicians who are also serving soldiers; recognises that all funds raised in this performance will help Poppyscotland continue what it sees as its vital work, and wishes the Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland all the best for its unmissable performance.
