Dunfermline Slot Car Racing Club Receives Asda Donation

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Dunfermline Slot Car Racing Club on securing a £500 donation from the Asda Foundation Green Token Scheme; understands that the store's community champion handed over the cash in the first week of July 2023; notes that the charity-based model car racing club is open to people both young and old, and meets at 10C Canmore Street every Wednesday at 7.00 pm; believes that this cash boost will give the club a much-needed jump-start, and acknowledges what it sees as the benefit that this local club brings to the community, as it provides a space for like-minded model car racing enthusiasts to come together.
