Alessia Palmieri Awarded British Tennis Development Coach of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Alessia Palmieri on being awarded British Tennis Development Coach of the Year at the Lawn Tennis Association awards; recognises that the coach from Kinross-shire was central to growing Fossoway Tennis Club to 370 members in 2022, including establishing after-school and tots classes to help the development of younger players in the local community, alongside schemes to attract new adult players to the sport, and wishes Alessia the best of luck in achieving her goals for the rest of 2023, namely, to expand the club to include a clubhouse and second court, and to continue increasing the number of girls playing tennis at the club.
