Cowdenbeath Teenager Completes Ben Nevis Challenge
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates 16-year-old Kaiden Ward, of Cowdenbeath, on tackling and conquering Ben Nevis with his step dad, Alan Goodwin; understands that Kaiden, who is blind, was determined to show that there is no mountain high enough to get the better of him as he sought to take part in the challenge with Alan, who was taking on the peak with members of the Cowdenbeath Karate Club; further understands that Kaiden does not let his disability put him off doing anything; believes that he serves as a role model and inspiration to many in the local community, and wishes him all the best for the future.
