Hannah Fennell Elected SFF President

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Hannah Fennell, of Orkney Fisheries Association, on her election as president of the Scottish Fishermen's Federation (SFF); understands that the SFF is a federation of industry bodies from around the country, and exists to promote the interests of Scottish fishers; notes that Hannah had previously served as SFF vice-president, alongside outgoing president, Ian Gatt; congratulates Sheila Keith, of Shetland Fishermen's Association, who has been elected to serve as vice-president; welcomes such a strong Northern Isles leadership of what it sees as this important industry representative body; looks forward to Hannah, Sheila and SFF colleagues continuing to engage effectively with parliamentarians across the political spectrum on a wide range of key issues for the sector, and wishes Hannah and Sheila well in their new roles.
