Peter Fraser Awarded 2023 Ronnie Rose Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Peter Fraser, Vice Chairman of the Scottish Gamekeepers Association, on receiving the 2023 Ronnie Rose Award at the Moy Country Fair on 4 August 2023; understands that this award recognises individuals who have championed education and the conservation of Scotland’s hills and rivers; further understands that the award is named after the late author, forester and wildlife manager, who was a pivotal figure in the Scottish Gamekeepers Association, and sees Peter as a worthy winner of the award and considers it deserved recognition for a lifetime of championing the interests of deer and their welfare.
