Kirkcaldy Welcomes Formation of New Church

The motion

That the Parliament wishes the very best of luck for the launch of Kirkcaldy’s newest church, Kirkcaldy Hope Church; understands that, as of August 2023, the church’s management has decided to close the beloved Templehall Building in Kirkcaldy and mark the end of Templehall and Torbain United Parish Church as an organisation; notes that, while this marks the end of a cherished chapter for the church, its management is excited to announce the launch of its new church, Kirkcaldy Hope Church, which will open on 3 September 2023; further notes that the church’s new full-time base will be at the former Torbain Parish Church Building, where its congregation will gather for worship and community activities; commends the church and its management team, as well as its congregation, for its dedication in serving the community, and wishes it well in any future endeavours it undertakes.
