Congratulating Connor Graham on Walker Cup Selection
The motion
That the Parliament commends Connor Graham, a 17-year-old golfer and member of Blairgowrie Golf Club in Perthshire, on his selection to represent Great Britain and Ireland in the 2023 Walker Cup, which is to be held at the iconic St Andrews course at the start of September; recognises that he is one of only two Scots, along with Calum Scott of Nairn, to be chosen for this prestigious biennial event against the United States of America, and wishes the team the best of luck in the competition and expresses the hope that their efforts will inspire the next generation of Scottish golfers.
