Susan Laird Receives Special Service Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Susan Laird, a long-serving West Fife guider, on receiving a special service award in recognition of her four decades of volunteering with local groups; notes that, having celebrated her 80th birthday in July 2023, Susan is still heavily involved in the work of the 1st Dalgety Bay Brownies; understands that Susan was key in overturning the Girlguiding policy that made it mandatory to step down from your role at the age of 65, and thanks Susan for her decades of service to the local community.
