Glasgow Beatson Cancer Charity Launches Search for Ambassadog

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Beatson Cancer Charity on launching its Ambassadog; understands that the charity is on the hunt for a new friendly face at fundraising events, and that, ultimately, it will be the face of its Off The Beatson Track event in 2024; further understands that the successful candidate will follow in the pawprints of the three-year-old, black German Shepherd, Teddi, who was crowned the 2022-23 Ambassadog; acknowledges that Teddi was entered by his owners, Hazel Ann and Kevin Gilbert, who were inspired to put their dog up for the role as a way of staying closer to the charity that had done so much for them, and understands that entries must be submitted by 6.00 pm on 20 September 2023, with the winner announced on 22 September.
