The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Scottish Autism on raising over £14,000 at its annual golf day fundraising event, which is sponsored by an Alloa-based company; understands that the event, which was held at Longniddry’s Craigielaw Golf Course, saw the raising of £14,626 to put towards its work, which is a new record amount for the charity; further understands that 25 golfing teams took part for the 2023 event; believes that it was sold out several months in advance, with the team from Kavanagh Project Services, a Quantity Surveying and Project Management Consultants from East Kilbride receiving the winning trophy; understands that the event has been sponsored by and organised alongside Alloa-based company, SG Pro Cleaning, for a number of years, who are corporate partners with Scottish Autism, as well as being hosted by Scottish Rugby celebrity, Scott Hastings, who also took part in the golf and ran the auction on the day, and commends Scottish Autism, SG Pro Cleaning, Scott Hastings, the winners on the day, and all the competitors for what it sees as their fantastic and hugely magnanimous support of a truly excellent event.
