House of Henderson Celebrates Centenary
The motion
That the Parliament expresses warm wishes to House of Henderson, Stirling, as it celebrates its centenary year in business in 2023; understands that House of Henderson was established by Robert R Henderson in 1923 as gentleman's outfitters RR Henderson Ltd, in Dollar, Clackmannanshire, before opening its second store in 1947 on Friars Street, Stirling, where the store remains open to this day; further understands that the business expanded its range to include gents Highland wear, which it specialises in today, making made-to-measure Highland wear, formal dress hire, premium Scottish gifts and accessories; notes that RR Henderson Ltd rebranded as House of Henderson in 2001 and continues to trade under this name today, under the management of the third generation of the Henderson family, and wishes House of Henderson continued success in the future and many more decades of trading to come.
