Kirkcaldy Parent Support Charity Welcomes Donation Boost

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Kirkcaldy charity, Home-Start, after it received a £1,000 donation from the team at the Amazon fulfilment centre in the region; understands that Home-Start Kirkcaldy received the donation as part of Amazon’s programme to support the communities around its operating locations across the UK; notes that Home-Start Kirkcaldy assists parents with young children by providing support, friendship and practical help by providing one-to-one support at home, a family group, a Baby Bookbug group, and trips and events; believes that the donation will go towards groups and activities for supported families; commends the charity for its work in the community, and wishes it all the best for the future.
