Oban Golf Event Raises Money to Fight Cancer
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that the 2023 John McEachen Memorial Golf Day at Glencruitten raised over £12,000 for cancer charities; acknowledges that, in the six years that the event has taken place, it has raised a total of £52,000 for local charities; recognises what it considers to be the vital work of all of the many volunteers involved in ensuring that the day was a success, and wishes everyone involved well for the future and for the ongoing success of the Golf Day.
