Scarba Charity Climb Raises Money to Fight Cancer

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the news that an impressive sum of £8,760 has been raised for Cancer Research UK by more than a 100 hikers who took part in the charity climb up Cruach Scarba; commends the event organiser, John Blackwell MBE, who has raised more than £62,600 to help tackle cancer in various annual challenges, including swims, triathlons, and walks; recognises the important efforts of local boat skippers who ferried people back and forth from Scarba, and wishes all volunteers well in their future charitable endeavours.
