Bearsden Athlete, Beth Potter, Wins World Triathlon Championships Finals in Spain

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Beth Potter, from Bearsden, on winning the World Triathlon Championships in Spain; notes that the win secures her place at 2024's Olympic Games in Paris; understands that she represented Great Britain at the Rio Olympics in the 10,000m race, before transitioning to the triathlon in 2017; notes that, in 2018, Beth became the first Scottish athlete to compete across two sports at the same Commonwealth Games, and wishes her every success for the future in her athletics career.
