Cycle Station Celebrates One Year of Successful Cycle Training

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Cycle Station of Newmilns on its successful year of cycle training delivery; understands that the balance bike training seeks to improve cycling skills and confidence for children of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds in a safe environment where the course is tailored to each child; notes that its customised training plans have earned it a 100% conversion rate; understands that Cycle Station has offered more sessions to accommodate demand from the local community and currently operates four hourly session each Saturday morning to accommodate eight trainees in each class; commends the staff and volunteers at Cycle Station for their hard work and dedication to deliver the Balance Buddies programme over the past year, and wishes them all the best in the future as they continue to instil local children with the confidence to get out on their bikes safely.
