Greener Kirkcaldy Wins Holyrood Magazine Climate Community Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Greener Kirkcaldy on winning Holyrood magazine's Climate Community Award at the Holyrood Climate Action Awards 2023; understands that Holyrood’s Climate Action Awards celebrate the best within Scotland’s climate change movement; notes that the awards are now in their third year, with the awards ceremony taking place on the first evening of the Climate Action Summit in central Edinburgh; believes that the awards are a fantastic opportunity to learn about and celebrate the achievements of some of the key individuals and organisations that are contributing to Scotland’s net zero journey; welcomes the news of Greener Kirkcaldy winning the Climate Community Award, as it recognises a particular town, village, community or place for the efforts it has made to tackle climate change, as well as showcasing the efforts that Kirkcaldy is making to help tackle climate change; commends Greener Kirkcaldy for winning the award, and wishes it and all of its staff and volunteers all the very best for the future.
