Pathhead Parish Church Celebrates Bicentenary

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Pathhead Parish Church in Kirkcaldy after it marks it bicentenary in 2023; understands that the church, which was founded in 1823, is set to celebrate this special anniversary with a whole host of events, including a celebratory meal with special guests, the Kingdom Brass Christmas concert, and a visit from the Moderator of the General Assembly; considers that Pathhead Parish Church holds a special place in the hearts of its congregation in Kirkcaldy and that it carries out many charitable projects via its Pathhead Christian Outreach Project, which delivers meals to older and vulnerable people in the community; applauds Pathhead Parish Church for what it sees as its dedication to the community and for its strong community spirit; commends Pathhead Parish Church for looking after the people in Kirkcaldy for over 200 years spiritually, and wishes the church, its volunteers, staff, and congregation, all the very best for the future.
