Asda Initiative for Emergency Responders

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes Asda's new initiative offering free hot drinks to emergency responders; recognises that the initiative is open to paramedics, police officers and firefighters, and is available all day, every day in Asda cafes and stores with self-service drinks machines, including in 24-hour and Express stores; understands that this offer will run until at least 31 December 2023, and is designed to pay thanks for the commitment that it considers emergency responders show every day in keeping communities safe; welcomes Asda’s initiatives designed to help local communities, including its Winter Warmers deal for over 60s, Kids Eat for £1, and Community Cuppa, which support local community groups, and praises the wonderful dedication of emergency responders who, it considers, demonstrate every day how invaluable they truly are.
