Asda Forfar Awards Asda Foundation Grants to Local Initiatives

The motion

That the Parliament applauds Asda Forfar for helping four local groups access a share of £1,880 in Asda Foundation grants in the latest round of funding; understands that Asda stores throughout the north east have in total facilitated Asda Foundation grants to 16 local groups, with funding totalling £13,004; recognises that Forfar Community Football Trust was awarded £500, Forfar Westend Para Football was awarded £600, Montrose Community Trust was awarded £280, and Forfar & District Men's Shed was awarded £500, allocated by Asda Forfar; notes that Asda Foundation grants are open to groups helping and providing support within their local communities; acknowledges what it sees as the valuable contribution that these local organisations make throughout the local community, and wishes everyone involved in these initiatives every success going forward.
