Oban Apprentice Wins Two Awards at Drax Awards Ceremony

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Josh Smith on winning the Apprentice of the Year (Year 4 Craft) award and the Paul Chambers Outstanding Achievement Award 2023 at the Drax Group Apprentice Awards; acknowledges that 28-year-old Josh has been recognised for his role in delivering several complex projects at the Cruachan Power Station over the last year; understands that the Paul Chambers Outstanding Achievement Award 2023 was the biggest prize on offer at the event, with judges commending Josh on achieving this prize while also earning an additional Higher National Certificate on top of his normal studies, and wishes Josh well and the best of luck for the future in his career.
