Dunfermline Businessman Awarded OBE in King's New Year Honours List

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Ewan Venters, the global Chief Executive Officer at the international art gallery, Hauser & Wirth, on being appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire by His Majesty King Charles; notes that Ewan Venters has been recognised for services to international trade; understands that Ewan is also the Chief Executive Officer of Artfarm, the independent hospitality company that is behind the award-winning Fife Arms, in Braemar; acknowledges that Mr Venters grew up in the Garvock area of Dunfermline and began to show an entrepreneurial flare from a young age, and wishes Mr Venters all the very best for his future endeavours.
