The motion

That the Parliament congratulates a father and daughter who have completed 20 of Scotland’s great trails; understands that, by setting up a JustGiving page, the pair have raised awareness and more than £4,000 for Scottish Autism; notes that Ian and Eve Alderman, together known locally as “Our Spectrum Adventures”, walked more than 1,000 miles for Scottish Autism in 2023, with the last route that they completed being along the Union Canal; understands that these 20 trails total over 1,100 miles, with just nine left to complete, including the 214-mile Southern Upland Way, which they hope to complete in 2024 and raise £10,000 for Scottish Autism in the process, and commends the duo for what it sees as their tireless and unwavering commitment in this regard.
