Simon McMahon Shortlisted for a Retail Week Award

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates Simon McMahon, who works as a senior programme manager at the West Fife Amazon fulfilment centre, for being shortlisted for a Retail Week Award for helping to create a multibank to help local families in need; understands that the multibank offers an emergency service for families fighting poverty by providing surplus essentials like nappies, toilet rolls, toothpaste and school uniforms; considers that Simon has been instrumental in the launch and growth of the multibanks in Fife and Wigan, which, it understands, have now donated over 1.5 million essential goods to more than 150,000 families across Scotland and Greater Manchester, and wishes Simon McMahon all the best for the future.
