Bearsden in Bloom Receives Special Achievement Award from Keep Scotland Beautiful

The motion

That the Parliament applauds the volunteers at Bearsden in Bloom for gaining a Level 5 - Outstanding award in the It’s Your Neighbourhood Awards by Keep Scotland Beautiful; notes that this is the second time that the group has received this award; understands that the award is managed in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society; appreciates the dedication and support of the volunteers who, it understands, have spent over 500 hours picking litter and gardening throughout the year; recognises that, after the winter break, the group will resume activities in the first weekend of March 2024, and wishes the team at Bearsden in Bloom every success for the season ahead.
