Financially Included
The motion
That the Parliament commends what it sees as the important work of Financially Included; understands that Financially Included is a partnership between GEMAP and Glasgow Violence Against Women Partnership, which focuses on economic and financial abuse, and the economic impact of gender-based violence; further understands that the organisation is a small team of four who specialise in advising survivors of gender-based violence, using a trauma-informed approach; commends its involvement in the co-production and development of robust economic abuse training and a toolkit, and further commends its provision of specialist advice to support women to recover, feel empowered and work towards financial independence.
