New MSYPs Elected in Cowdenbeath Constituency
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Daisy Hood, from Lochgelly, and Jordanna Rae, from Rosyth, on their election as the new Members of the Scottish Youth Parliament (MSYP) for Cowdenbeath; understands that both successful candidates will now represent the area from February 2024 until the next election in November 2025; welcomes the opportunities that the Scottish Youth Parliament, and its partner agencies, provide to young people across Scotland to experience and participate in democracy whilst building their skills; recognises the valuable work that it believes is done by the MSYPs in representing the views and interests of local young people, and wishes them, and the wider Scottish Youth Parliament, all the very best for their forthcoming term.
