Made for Maggie’s
The motion
That the Parliament commends the efforts of the Made for Maggie's Fife team on raising a record breaking £17,080 in 2023 through sales of its homemade knitted items; understands that Made for Maggie’s Fife has been running since 2014 and started from an idea to sell knitted baby items to raise funds for Maggie’s and these can now be found regularly for sale in many outlets across Fife, including the Kingsgate Shopping Centre in Dunfermline, Loch Leven Larder and The Buffalo Farm, and understands that all proceeds have been donated to the Maggie’s Centre, which is based in the Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy, and will be used to help it to continue to provide support to those living with cancer and their families.
