Double Awards Success for Nardone's Academy of Performing Arts

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Nardone's Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) of Lochgelly on recently receiving two awards from the Council for Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre; understands that academy director and founder, Liam Nardone, received the Recognised Teacher Award, putting him alongside only two others in Scotland, making him the only Recognised Teacher in Fife; notes that the academy received the Recognised School Award; understands that Liam founded the academy seven years ago, to provide a comprehensive training programme and professional opportunities for local young people; notes what it sees as the dedication of all of the NAPA team members in their commitment to local children and young people over this time, helping to provide them with on-stage opportunities both in Fife and outwith, and wishes them all the very best for the future.
