Aberdeen International Airport Celebrates 90th Anniversary
The motion
That the Parliament celebrates the 90th anniversary of Aberdeen International Airport; notes that Aberdeen International Airport was founded in 1934 by Eric Gander Dower and began operations in July 1934, being officially opened by Lord Arbuthnott; understands that, in recognition of its granite anniversary, Aberdeen International Airport has commissioned a 90th anniversary logo to use throughout 2024, and is looking for former colleagues and passengers to get in touch to share their stories throughout the years to better shape the celebration plans for later in the year; congratulates Aberdeen International Airport on reaching this impressive milestone, and wishes it all the best for the coming years ahead.
