Milngavie Cricket Club to Launch New Junior Section

The motion

That the Parliament extends its congratulations to Milngavie Cricket Club on its £683 grant from the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland; understands that the funding will be used to support the club's junior cricket programme, All Stars and Dynamos, which is scheduled to begin in early summer; believes that All Stars is an excellent introduction to the sport for all children aged five to eight years, offering eight weeks of fun, activity, and skills development, with the option to advance to the Dynamos, which is for children aged eight to 11 years; hopes that this will inspire more youth participation in sports, and wishes the young athletes all the best of luck in the upcoming season.
