Aberdeen Teenager, Filip Cegar, Raises over £5,500 for Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital (RACH)

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates 14-year-old Filip Cegar, of Milltimber, Aberdeen, on climbing the 674 steps of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, raising more than £5,500 for the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital (RACH); notes that Filip had to learn to walk again after a sledging accident that resulted in him breaking both his back and breastbone; understands that the funds raised have now been used to buy two recliner chairs for the hospital’s High Dependency Unit (HDU), and will also go towards funding a room in the Archie Foundation's Family Centre, where families can stay within RACH whilst their child is a patient; further understands that Filip is now fully recovered, and wishes Filip and his family all the best for the future.
