Break the Silence Wins the Prestigious 2024 Business Excellence Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the winner of the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce's 2024 Business Excellence Award, Break the Silence; notes that the award recognises small- and medium-sized enterprises based in Ayrshire that are committed to excellence and follow a path of continuous improvement; recognises the fantastic achievements of the other finalists, Yipworld and William Duncan Accountants, in this category; understands that Break the Silence was recently accredited by EQFM, a globally recognised framework for organisational change and performance improvement, allowing Break the Silence to evidence its continuous improvement in direction, execution, and results of their service delivery; notes that the judging panel visited Break the Silence as part of the competition and observed the positive results for its client base and employees delivered by what it sees as its great leadership and strategic direction; understands that Break the Silence is a charity that seeks to provide a range of tailored, professional support options in North and East Ayrshire for people affected by childhood sexual trauma, at no cost; commends Break the Silence for what it see as a prestigious achievement, and wishes Break the Silence well in all of its future endeavours as it continues to serve the East and North Ayrshire regions.
