The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Kelso Rugby Club for being crowned the King of the 7s, which is a series of ten 7s rugby tournaments, with the team gaining the most points over the series winning the King of the 7s title; understands that Kelso played in a number of 7s tournaments, including in Peebles, Galashiels, Melrose and Selkirk and had the most points from these competitions to win the overall title; notes that the King of the 7s tournament started exactly 30 years ago in 1994, with the first winner being Gala, and commends the other nine teams who took part in the tournament, including the second place winner, Gala.
