Watsonian Hockey Club Men’s 1st XI Team and Watsonian Hockey Women’s 1st Team Historic Double Scottish Cup Win

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates both the Watsonian Hockey Club Men’s 1st XI team and Watsonian Hockey Women’s 1st team on their historic double Scottish Cup win, held at the Glasgow National Hockey Centre; understands that the Men’s 1st XI team won the Men’s Scottish Cup on 4 May 2024, and that the Women’s 1st team won the Women’s Scottish Cup on 5 May 2024; further understands that no other club side has won both the men’s and women’s cups in the same year; acknowledges what it sees as the astounding efforts by the Watsonian Hockey Club players, and wishes both teams continued success.
